One hundred years after gold was discovered in California, Broadmoor Presbyterian Church was established by the Rev. John Glasse. Regular worship services were started on May 22, 1949 in a tiny building formerly used as a real estate office. The facility was originally called "The Community Presbyterian Church of Broadmoor."
